Gary Kubiak / Mike McCoy
The NFL coaching carousel continues to spin as another dramatic Black Monday has passed. While this season's headlines were dampened a little with a few coaching firings coming over the past weeks, these still continued to make talking news over the past few days.
At the center was the news that head coach Gary Kubiak would retire from coaching leaving the Denver Broncos with a big hole to fill while also trying to find the quarterback of the future. Other firings over the past few days included Mike McCoy of the San Diego Chargers and Chip Kelly of the San Francisco 49ers.
These names also joined the likes of Jeff Fisher, Gus Bradley and Rex Ryan all of whom were let go by their respective teams over the past few weeks. The firings could continue as reports have indicated the Indianapolis Colts let Chuck Pagano go while Bill O’Brien could be on the way out with a first round loss in the NFL Playoffs.
