Prince George, Britain’s future King, turned three on July 22, 2016. The adorable toddler is leaving behind the “terrible twos” and now he is officially threenager.
George is third in line to the British throne, after Prince Charles and Prince William. In the past month, Prince George started to attend official engagement with his parents, an important training for the future king. The first engagement for Prince George was a visit to a royal air show in Gloucestershire, England. There, he had a chance to sit in a cockpit and explore helicopters. According to his parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton, the visit was an early birthday present for Prince George, who loves airplanes.
Reportedly, the family celebrated his birthday at their Anmer Hall home, behind the closed doors. The Duke of Cambridge didn’t share too many details about his son’s birthday party: “I am not telling, he got too many things, he's far too spoilt.” In 2014-2015, Prince George received 706 presents.
On Prince George's birthday, the Duke and Duchess released a series of photos of their son. The photos were published on the official Twitter page of Kensington Palace, showing Prince George with the family dog, Lupo. The photos were taken at family’s country home in Norfolk in England's east.
